Will the metals tarnish?
Sterling Silver will naturally oxidize/tarnish over time, but silver polish will bring back the shine. Gold Fill pieces can tarnish, but it takes special circumstances for that to happen. Pure 14K Gold doesn’t tarnish, so even though it’s an alloy, the thick layer on Gold Fill pieces prevents tarnishing. Best practice to keep your jewelry shiny is to store them in a jewelry box between wears.
